Metastrike Open Alpha Summer Tournament

Greetings Metastrikers. After a series of successful Open Alpha events, we are pleased to introduce to everyone the last big Open Alpha event on the BNB chain before the official release of the Metastrike game. In this article, we will share the detail of the Metastrike Open Alpha Summer Tournament and how to participate in this event with the following FAQs

1. What is special about Summer Tournament?

Following a series of successful Open Alpha events, we would like to introduce everyone to the latest Open Alpha Summer Tour event. So what is special about this event compared to previous events? 

• The final event before Metastrike officially released the game live on BNB Chain  

• The participation of 2 Esport pro teams from Vietnam 

• There will be an event to introduce the teams participating in the tournament like an actual Esport tournament. 

• Based on that there will be a big prediction game in which you can win big prizes

• Every match in the tournament will be Livestreamed with the final match being commentated live

• Countless Mini-games for the community to be able to win great prizes

2. Summer Tournament format

A. Operation:

• Number of teams: 8-12 teams participate in the tournament

• Split into 2 groups A/B - Get first and second to play Playoff

• The winning team will receive 1 point, and the losing team gets 0 points     ( In case 2 or more Teams are equal, the difference is taken as the basis for ranking)

• The top 2 teams from each group will advance to the Semi-Finals

B. Bo5 matches:

• Game Mode:  Conquest - 2 teams switch sides every round

•  Each match is a Bo5 match (4-4) that can change between matches

C. Terms:

•  The number of members in a team must be at least 5 people.

• Show up accordingly to the arranged time from the organizer

• Participating members must have enough system requirements:

3. Duration of Metastrike Summer Tournament

• Registration opening time:  August 22nd - September 4th, 2022

• Summer Tournament will start:  approximately from September 6th - September 12th depending on the speed of the team’s registration.

• Estimated time of tournament: About  6 - 8 weeks

• 3 matches per week: at 9 Am UTC on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 

4. Mini-game for the community in Summer Tournament

During the tournament, we will organize mini-events for the community members.

• Mini-game before the tournament: Predicting the winning team/ player MVP of the Tournament.

• Mini-game in the tournament: Predicting the match score, watching the Livestream to receive airdrop vouchers

• Mini-game after the tournament: Highlight video for a community member, Meme competition,.....

And many other exciting events on the  Metastrike Discord channel. Also, remember to join the tournament so as not to miss the chance to receive amazing prizes from Metastrike.

6. How to register and process for the Metastrike Summer Tournament?

• Each Team fills out the registration form

• The organizers will select and contact the  8-12 teams that best fit the tournament’s requirement (the quicker you register the better)

• Participating in the game testing phase

• Exchange with the organizers/projects

• Commit to participate in the tournament
